You already know what you're doing and what works best for you, so I won't bore you with my thoughts except to say that I personally found the Nutshells and the Questions & Answers books more helpful in my second and third year than I found the Examples & Explanations (which I found so useful my first year). I am not suggesting that you buy all of these for each class. Some may not be useful for some variants of a class and others may be duplicative.
